Talking Books
In January of 2024 we began experimenting with using existing books to build intentional AI to guide conversations. Our first app was ReadyToDate.org which quickly morphed into LivingBooks.AI and then TalkingBooks.AI
Below is some of the competition we found:
- Talk to Books - (conversation) Talk to Books was a Google experiment in using a neural language model to search through a large collection of books. Launched in 2018, it delighted millions of users who found that you really could converse with books in a way never imagined.
- Talking Books and Reading Disabilities - The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS), Library of Congress, offers a free program for individuals of all ages who have a disability that prevents them from reading regular print.
